I have had a love of drawing since I was a child, and it has stayed with me and grown into a full artistic drive in my adult life. After school and A levels, I studied a full foundation course for a year at Hastings college of Art and Design, before going on to study for 3 years at the University College for the Creative Arts at Maidstone, graduating from my degree in Illustration in 2008. Since then my work has tended more towards fine art, exploring my personal interests and influences.
I am mostly inspired by people, animals, and the natural world; I strive to capture the individual spirit and nature of the subject in my paintings. I largely use pastels, acrylic and oil paints, but I am constantly experimenting with new techniques and materials to push my work further.
I am currently just returned from 21 months travelling and working around Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia and Thailand, which has given me a wealth of new ideas and inspiration.....watch this space!
